Robbers Steal US$27,000, Perfumes

By Sunday Mail Reporter - TWO robbers broke into a company in Workington Industrial Area, Harare, on Sunday, before they made away with US$27,000 in cash and a few perfumes.

No one has been arrested as yet and investigations are in progress.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi has confirmed the robbery.

"The ZRP is investigating a robbery case which was reported at company premises along Coventry Road, Workington Industrial Area, Harare on April 13, 2025, at around 2am," he said.

Two unknown suspects, with unknown pistols and face masks, stormed the premises.

"They overpowered the security guard before they broke a toilet window to gain entry into the offices where they employed explosives to blow open a safe.

"The suspects stole US$27,000 in cash and some perfumes. Anyone with information to report at the nearest police station." Sunday Mail
